THAI BOXING or Muay Thai, the art of fighting, is part of theidentity of the THAI people.

Its root go back to ancient times inThai history, during which SIAM (Thailand)was at war with its neighbouring countries,in order to protect its "Golden Land".
Throughout the years warfare tactics andweaponry changed drastically, but the MuayThai tradition ramained unchanged.

MAN first learned how to use the only weaponshe was born with, hands, feet and other parts of hisbody, to engage in non-weapon or barehandedcombat in order to defend himself and stay aliveand safe from all the threats around him.
Over time, when life-threatening combatturned competition over prize and reward, rulesand regulations were created and enforcedto prevent serious injuries.
Once a sheer hostile combat, thiscompetition became regulated and recognizedas a sporting event called “MUAY.”
