CLIQTORIAL: Editor's Note
SRP: For The Month Ending; This April 2008

OMG! May's almost here already! It's so freakin' fast lah! I swear this month's gone by faster than last month. Maybe, i'm just having too much fun or perhaps, drowned in my pile of work! April's been a great month i have to say, especially the first two weeks or so with many back-to-back events. The latter part of April was more cool as we all began to prepare for the hell month of May.
You don't have to ask, and you should know, i'm definitely going to start this month's recap with the Francis Cheong fashion show at the Singapore Fashion Festival earlier this month. It's probably the biggest highlight so far this year, with the exception of our One Year Anniversary of course, and i'm actually rather impressed with the attendance for the event. Thank you guys for turning up in you most glam outfits and most importantly, looking awesome and confident at the same time. We sure rocked the socks off everyone there! Haha.
Eric has officially moved to his new abode and we had an awesome house-warming over at his crib. The food was seriously good lah! I remember me and Serene going for multiple rounds and Matthew stealing my satays! Anyway, thank you Eric for inviting us over and did we mention that we love your room, alot!
Another important milestone, two of our Cliqu-ers, Max & Melvin enlisted into army and we're wishing them all the best in their two years of service. Now, let me count, altogether, six Cliqu-ers are serving the nation. We're seriously growing up real fast.
Ok, what's next? Oh yes, The Clog! Boy, do i have tons to say about our weblog! Well, first things first! I haven't been clogging much this month but i'm so glad that more people are putting some time and effort to clog and the diversity and content of our entries are terrific so far. Thank you guys, you know who you are. A special mention to Strider's brilliant entry and, oh yes, congratulations to Nigel for finally clogging his first entry! Atta boy!
As for The Clog, i'm sure you can tell that we're making way for major changes, most visibly an image overhaul to spruce up the rather lacklustre layout and an interface upgrade for everyone's ease of navigation. At the same time, major database modifications are taking place behind the veils of The Clog as we attempt to make clogging less tedious & time-consuming. With the re-structuring of the archive vaults and the simplification of tagging labels among other tasks, we hope to make clogging an easy & effortless process as well as making it a fun thing to do at the same time!
So, as we set out a goal and a vision to better enhance The Clog, we seek each and everyone's patience and understanding while we tinker about with our weblog, meaning that once in a while, The Clog may be in chaotic disarray and some things may just not function right, so don't go fuming mad, k? We hope to finish our renovation by month's end!
To all cloggers, after taking into consideration of several feedbacks and opinions, a new clogging entry format has been introduced, it's not much different so try to follow the layout if possible. This is to standardize our entries and keep it professional for both viewing and archiving purposes! I'll get a more detailed entry up on this issue asap. Thank you for your cooperation.
Alright, now for the fun part! What's up for May? Actually, i don't know. It's kind of a dead month because everyone is either in school or in camp, but i do know that Jane's going to hold her farewell party before she goes down under. I'll keep you all posted on any events that may pop up from nowhere. So, for the time being, let's all just chill in May!
Oh yes, tomorrow's May Day and i'm sure alot of you guys are going to take friday off, by hook or by crook, to enjoy a long vacation, so i wish all of you a wonderful weekend ahead and i'll be back at the end of May with the next Cliqtorial!
