Let me now introduce you to a veneratedJapanese reality TV cooking show from the90's that celebrates food in all its glory.

Iron Chef was created by FujiTV and hosted bythe eccentric Chairman Kaga on the show, who claimsto be the supreme authority of gourmet cuisine.
He was inspired by the culinary arts andspecially constructed the Kitchen Stadiumwhere chefs from around the world would competeagainst chefs from his Gourmet Academy.
Four iron chefs lead the institution andthey each specialize in a different kind of cuisine;Japanese, Chinese, French, and later Italian.
The challenging chefs have one hour to cookand improvise a multicourse meal around a themeingredient that must be present in each dish.
At the end of the show, each of the chef's creationsare presented a panel of judges who taste the dishesand award points to the dishes of their liking. Thechef with the greatest score wins the competition.
Now, let's start the inaugural entryto the Iron Chef series with one of myfavourite seafood cuisine, the lobster.
