It's official. David Cook has been votedthe new American Idol, receiving 56% ofthe votes and unexpectedly beating fellowidol finalist David Archuleta.
Cook then sang "The Time of My Life",the winning song of the 2008 AmericanIdol Songwriter's Competition.
