The Singapore Sling

Does anyone fancy a glass of
SINGAPORE SLING
COCKTAIL?

The Singapore Sling

I guess, as Singaporeans,
we ought to know more about the
history of this famous cocktail!

The Raffles Hotel

The Singapore Sling is both a cocktail that was
invented by Ngiam Tong Boon or the Raffles Hotel
in Singapore sometime between 1910 and 1915 and
a movie directed and written by Nikos Nikolaidis.

The original recipe of the Singapore Sling is
significantly different from the current recipe.

--------------------------------

DID YOU KNOW?

The original recipe used gin, cherry brandy,
and Benedictine. It was then shaken and strained into
a glass, and then filled to individual taste with club soda.

The current Raffles Hotel recipe is a much modified
version of the original, most likely changed sometime
in the 1970s by the Ngiam Tong Boon's nephew.

AND GUESS WHAT?
