Up In The Sky

HEY, LOOK UP!

It's the Singapore Flyer! Haha, hereare a few photos from a visit i madeto Marina Bay a couple days back!


The whole journey takes from startto end takes roughy about 40 mins.


This is the sturdy beam that fully
supports the Singapore Flyer.


This is the station centre where you
board and exit from the capsules
that take you up into the sky.


Here's us having board our capsule
and awaiting for the contraption
to lift us up into the sky.


And finally, as you soar to the peak of the flyer,
everyone in the capsule is silenced by the amazing
view that is the magnificent Singapore skyline.

I think all Singaporeans should at least go and take the ride once. :D

The Forgotten City

TANG DYNASTY

Once a lively tourist attraction, now a
pale shadow of its once-majestic self.


Closed to the public and barricaded toprevent trespassing, a secret passagestill exists today, promising an adventureto those who dare peek through its walls.

Still remember the good ol' days,when the ancient city replica wasa magnificent wonder all by itself.

Come on, let's all take a trip back to theyester-years of what was Tang Dynasty.

The abandoned ghost town greets you withforlorn silence as you take a step throughthe high-guarding walls of the city.

An amazing place, still exuding aglimmer of life from the days of yore.
With dragonflies and butterflies of all colourshumming about (don't forget the mosquitos)and lush flora and fauna wildly envelopingthe now derelict structures.

The Grassy Knoll

HEY ALL!
Can you perhaps guess where this could be?

Well, you can find this knoll on campus, at

Nanyang Technological University.

It's one of the more peculiar places you can find

on campus and definitely an architectural oddity

that would make most other people go, hmmm...

This structure has a grass roof above, which leads

from roof to the ground. You can walk up the

stairways and imagine yourself having a mattress

and sliding down the knoll. How fun would that be?

Marina South - Now & Then

Remember the time after training or other

activities, the first choice for a big group

buffet was always Marina South?

The reason being the cheap variety of food,

including crabs and whatnots! We frequent it so much

until suggesting to go back to the same place again

makes everyone go, OH NOT AGAIN!

Now, there won't be another chance to visit

the more tranquil setting of the area as it is now closed

to give way for new developments such as the

Marina Bay Sands and the Gardens By The Bay.

Take a peek of Marina South today,

it's emptiness brings forth an eerie silence.

Nothing else is there now,except construction workers.
