The first entry to the clique's blog. (Thanks Edison for creating this platform to express ourselves and, of course, document our lives, at the same time!) I should get the ball rolling now, I guess?
Well, it's been pretty much almost close to six months that the foundations of the clique was formed; at Eric's 21st birthday chalet. From a couple different fraction of friends, we've grown so much to be such a big, wonderful family and the love and care that has blossomed throughout this experience has pretty much grown in me.
I guess we all started out with various differences, be it habits, lifestyles or even ways of reasoning and such. We've pretty much accomodated one another's different percpectives and created a whole new lifestyle where we give and take, well, although I have to admit we do still rub against friction once in a while. But, then again, what's life without challenges? Nothing is perfect right? We rough it out once in a while but at the end of the day, all's well that ends well.
On a personal note, I cannot deny that this clique has brought me so much happiness in life and knowing that I can always count on a couple of wonderful souls to always keep me bouyant. Haha. But, seriously, it wasn't an easy process to go through. I don't think that many of us had much hopes on this clique, neither did anyone of us thought that this clique really had a heart. I didn't too as well. I always imagined it to be just another superficial group where we just hung out for the sake of doing so.
Well, the good news is that we are real. What bond we have created is a genuine one. I am sure of it, because I can feel it! There is no doubt that the strong bond of the clique resonates in each and every one of us.
Well, to all of my fellow cliq-uers, let's all do our part and keep the spirit of this clique alive. Let it be the box filled with endless suprises, the soft pillow that you can safely lay your weary head on and the warmth from the lone candle brimming in the darkness.
