I guess everyone practices non-altruistic individualism.
Or perhaps, otherwise, self-impeding priorities and affections of utter significance are more worth the time to address.
From a certain perspective, we live in a communal society; this clique is a community. The ability for the twenty of us to integrate as a single entity is near impossible. I don’t think it will ever be a possibility. We live (have) our own lives.
We made the rules when we first decided to forge our ties.
We’re quintessentially a group of friends. We made no commitments; we didn’t pledge our blood to our harmony. We never knew how this clique would have turned out the way it has become today.
It’s inevitable I guess that sometimes circumstances go awry because of our foundations and the beliefs that we chose when we first became cliqu-ers. We never anticipated change, or how our values have evolved along the way.
Its no one’s fault, it was unanticipated.
Yet, as we continue to build our camaraderie within this clique, I urge that we offer just a little bit more for this wonderful friendship that we call the clique. Be it a simple clog entry, keeping a promise made, or perhaps giving others a thought, to even being punctual for an engagement, each small act makes a difference.
In the end, our individualities still remain unscathed and you’ll finally begin to realize another 19 individual hearts beating in unison with you.
Give it a thought. We’ll always be JUST THE CLIQUE. Cheers!
with love always,
I know, you know who ;)
