Down By The Riverside

It was CHINESE NEW YEAR'S EVE anda couple of us spent the evening to chillat STARBUCKS at City Hall.


It was just the seven of us; Edison, Jane,
Derek, Will, Nicole, Derrick & Me.

Incidentally, we were also there to catch themidnight fireworks extravaganza nearby, over at theannual CNY event, Singapore River Hong Bao. No!They don't give out red packets there. I wish they did.



Suprisingly, the crowd was just perfect,not overwhelmingly packed like Chinatown!



There was a huge CNY themed fair going aroundand it was absolutely amazing. With all the intricatedecorations, the huge array of food and games stalland stunning live performances.



I particularly liked the rabbit lanterns! HAHA!

There was also SO MUCH FOOD, that we justkept on eating non-stop, well for me at least =X



HAHA! Look at Derrick getting over-engrossedover the feast that was spread out for him!

Well, he's probably thinking,"Hmm... What can i buy with $8.65"

OH! There were lots and lots of performanceslike i've mentioned earlier on,

There was a LION DANCE segment...

OH YEAH! Jane and Derek decided to catwalkbut in the end it was Will who strutted his stuff.
